Nazanin is a Neuro-Coach, Restorative Yoga Therapist, MBSR Facilitator, and Yoga Teacher. Nazanin specializes in Mindfulness, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Breathwork and Meditation. She also offers Marma Point Therapy and Ayurvedic Head Massage.
Learn more about Nazanin’s health journey below:
I was introduced to Yoga, specifically Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga, following a traumatic car accident 2009. My body was constantly in pain, and my mental health suffered. I tried everything I could to help “fix” myself with no real, lasting benefits, so I gave Yoga a shot. After a few months, my body felt different. I was healing. And then came another shift. Through this practice, I noticed my mind was calmer. I began to share my experience with friends and family and eventually decided I had to share it with others. After taking my 200 YTT, I completed a Specialized Yin Yoga Teacher Training emphasizing Functional Anatomy. I went on to complete a 90-hour extensive Restorative Training. Since then, I’ve received my Meditation Certification, MBSR, CWMF and Integrated Yoga Therapy and Ayurvedic Head Massage Certifications. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching private, group and corporate clients for the past several years and am so excited to be part of the Elysian Team. We never know when one of the worst things to happen to us is actually a blessing in disguise.

Adam is a registered kinesiologist with the BCAK and Manual
Osteopathic Therapist with CMMOTA.
Adam has always been involved in fitness from a young up and coming athlete, to a highly competitive one and now a self-
proclaimed weekend Warrior. He has used his sports experience in hockey, lacrosse and skiing to train athletes in these areas at a
highly competitive level. Adam has also trained national level
track athletes and personally qualified for world’s toughest
mudder.
After years of training athletes and participating in sport he
noticed a significant gap in treatments. Almost all therapists
treated the presenting injury and never looked at the whole
picture. This was not only common for his athletes, but for all of
the individuals he saw, both young and old
Adam decided to add to his 14 years of kinesiology experience to
see if there was a way to treat individuals the same way he
rehabilitated his clients, through a whole body approach. This is
how he discovered Osteopathic Therapy.
Manual Osteopathic Therapy creates balance in all the body by
using many specialized advanced manipulations of the fascia,
bone, joints, cranium, and organs, in short, all of the body’s
structures.
Manual Osteopathy has been well known and trusted
in Europe for many years but is relatively new to Vancouver.
